MXL has been helping support CubeSats from the OutSat L36 launch on September 13. The first days of any mission are critical, a fact which is especially true for CubeSats. Shortly after release, the Joint Space Operations Command (JSpOC) publishes tracking data for each one, but they have no way of telling which one is which. As a result, students, amateur radio operators and even professionals collaborate to sort out which object is which.
