MXL Alumni Profiled by the College of Engineering

Two MXL alumni were recently profiled by the University of Michigan College of Engineering for their roles in the space industry: Kiril “Kiko” Dontchev, who worked on the first M-Cubed and RAX-1, is now a power systems engineer at SpaceX, where he designs and tests lithium ion batteries. Eric Gustafson, an alumnus of the RAX program, is now a navigation engineer at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory and continues to volunteer his time by mentoring MXL students. Both men credited their time working on MXL missions for their successful entries into industry. We look forward to hearing many more success stories as alumni find their place in bold space exploration efforts all over the world.
