K. Scott Tripp and So-Hee Kan took advantage of the spring time sunshine to work on calibrating the pointing of our antennas on FXB. In our haste during winter weather, we left them misaligned. We are headed in the right direction now!

We are headed to the SRI dish this week to establish S-band communication with RAX-2.  Onboard RAX-2 is the MHX-2400, a radio capable of 115 kbps.  Successful communication with RAX-2 over S-Band will increase our ability to downlink raw data in support of the science mission.  If the dish is available for extended time, we Continue Reading »
