K. Scott Tripp and So-Hee Kan took advantage of the spring time sunshine to work on calibrating the pointing of our antennas on FXB. In our haste during winter weather, we left them misaligned. We are headed in the right direction now!

Back to the SRI Dish
We are headed to the SRI dish this week to establish S-band communication with RAX-2. Onboard RAX-2 is the MHX-2400, a radio capable of 115 kbps. Bigger Ears from Lockheed!
Thanks to Eric Kirk and John Springmann for leading an effort to upgrade our antennas here at MXL. We just installed two new UHF yagi antennas that are phased together to increase gain.
